9th will be observed as National Legal Services Day through out
the state under the auspices of KELSA, DLSAs and TLSCs. A Seminar
will be organised on Negotiation, Conciliation, Mediation and
Application of Internet Technology in e-Auctioning and e-Tendering
on 9th November 2009 by KELSA in association with HCLSC, PCSJ, LSI
and Matexnet Pvt. Ltd. John G. Shulman(Harward Scholar), Public Attorney in U.S. and
many other experts will lead the academic session. The
function will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice S.R. Bannurmath,
Chief Justice of High Court of Kerala. Hon'ble Mr. Justice
Kurian Joseph, Executive Chairman, KELSA will be presiding over the
inaugural function. Hon'ble Mr. Justice K. Balakrishnan Nair,
Judge High Court of Kerala and Chairman, HCLSC will be offering
keynote address. Mr. Justice J.B. Koshy, former Chief Justice
of Patna High Court and former Executive Chairman, KELSA will be
addressing the gathering. Sri. M.P. Asok Kumar, President
Kerala High Court Bar Association will deliver the introductory
speech on the subject. |

KELSA in association with National Womens
Commission of India is conducting a Sensitisation Programme
on Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005.
22nd November 2009 at High Court Auditorium. Hon'ble Mr.
Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, Chief Justice of India has kindly
consented to inaugurate the function on the said day at about 10
a.m. All the principal DJs, all Judges of Family Court ,
all the Judicial Officers in Ernakulam district, Protection Officers
in the State, representatives of Service Providers in Ernakulam
district senior Police Officers of Ernakulam district and Advocates
are the proposed delegates in the seminar. |
